DO WE REALLY KNOW?

Here is a question that I have wondered about on several different occasions and thought about the other night. So I am going to ask. When we quote these verses from the Bible, some of these famous passages that are very well known and quoted a lot, do we really know what they’re talking about, or are we just quoting them because it’s the Christian thing, Without Really knowing what they are saying? Would we really know how to explain them to somebody if they asked? Do we really know what the passages we quote so much to people and post on Facebook or Twitter or whatever social media we have are talking about? If not, why do we quote them? I really don’t think a lot of us would really know how to explain these passages to somebody if they ask.
Just something I thought about.
